My painting titled "Taking Flight" received the Judge's Choice Award for the theme paint on birds at this year's Augusta Plein Air Festival held in Augusta, Missouri. Of course, moments after receiving my ribbon I somehow managed to bump into wet oil paint which smeared all over the ribbon.
